Darby Burnham may be a troubled girl
or just a girl in trouble. She and her brother Felix
weave a deeply weird fantasy world to cope with the pressures of abuse
and neglect in their home life.
As allies and as enemies they navigate the perilous journey into
maturity. Darby isn't just trying to save
her family and friends, but to stop the destruction of the magical
